On Friday, April 17, supporters and advocates nationwide will be taking part in an easy online effort to call attention to the critical need of organ and tissue donation.Participants will be replacing their current Facebook or MySpace photo with one of our :I Heart Organ Donors" badges. In addition, supporters will be updating their status on either social networking site with a message that calls attention to April as National Donate Life Month and will provide a link to www.shareyourlife.org for others to quickly find out how to register in their state.
If you are on Facebook, be sure to join this event for this big day and invite everyone to know to partake as well. Over 1,000 people have agreed to participate and may are taking early action to spread the word to friends via status updates.
