Donate Life Concert Series at the New Grammy Museum at LA Live!
This was a great intimate concert at the new Grammy Museum at LA Live featuring Carolina Liar that was broadcast on KTLA 5 and 104.3 MYfm. This second in a series of Donate Life concerts features an on air interview with donor family member Jae Park who is also a fireman at the Santa Ana Fire Department. He describes his families thoughts on the importance of organ and tissue donation and relayed his experience being a fireman and how "first responders" do make every attempt to save the lives of individuals they are helping.
The performance by Carolina Liar was very personal with many stories by the band members on how they met and began their project from thoughts jotted down during a long flight by Chad who is from Carolina and Sweds Johan (the quiet one) and Rickard who make up three of the six band members. Apparently Rickard celebrated Cinco de Mayo the night before and continued his partying with laughter and funny anecdotes about their rise in the industry.
