DONATE LIFE CALIFORNIA NEEDS EVERYONE'S HELP ON LEGISLATION PENDING

Miryam Mora-Barajas of Donate Life California posted the following on the Donate Life California Facebook page. We need your help and encourage all blog readers to respond immediately.

SB 552 (Padilla)

Please help us pass this important piece of legislation! Hearings on July 1st!

Donate Life California is sponsoring Senate Bill 552, which would require public high schools that elect to offer health education classes to include 15 minutes on organ and tissue donation. Our goal is to provide students with the foundational knowledge about donation so that they can make an informed decision at the time they first apply to get their drivers license or identification card at the DMV.

Donate Life California is committed to providing classes with the instructional material so there will be no additional costs to classrooms.

Copy and paste the letter and personalize it if you wish and send to info@donatelifeca.org or fax to 916-880-3510

Thank you for supporting our life saving mission!
Sincerely,

Miryam Mora-Barajas
