DONATE LIFE HOLLYWOOD- THREE RIVERS - TONY & EMMY AWARD WINNER MANDY PATINKIN JOINS CAST AS GUEST STAR

(AP Photo/CBS, Monty Brinton)

In this Oct. 2009 publicity image released by CBS, actor Alex O'Loughlin, left, and Emmy and Tony Award winner, and real-life double corneal transplant recipient, Mandy Patinkin, center, is seen in 'The Luckiest Man' episode of the CBS series 'Three Rivers.' Patinkin plays Victor, an ALS patient who asks to be to taken off of life support following a car crash, so that his organs can be used to save others.

Patinkin is bringing a personal story line with him - he received corneal implants, donated by the families of a 13 year-old girl and a 12 year-old boy, to correct a disease that distorts the shape of the cornea and severely impairs vision.

We would like to encourage Patinkin to join Donate Life as an Ambassador to speak to his peers and fans about the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation. Mr. Patinkin, please contact Donate Life Hollywood, who will be honored for your help.
