Families from across the country were on hand this past Saturday to decorate their floragraphs and float; 77 floragraphs will adorn the Donate Life Rose Parade Float "New Life Rises". Local volunteers helped decorate floragraphs for those families who were not able to fly to Pasadena - California R & B recording artist All 4 One delighted float and floragraph decorators by signing the new CD while starting Tyla Newbold's floragraph. A few days later, this past Tuesday, All 4 One were in Salt Lake City to help family members finish the masterpiece. All-4-One, known for the smash hit "I Swear," has had a personal connection to Tyla Newbold since the group met her at the hospital during a trip to Salt Lake City in 1995.

"It's one of those things about lifting the human spirit," said singer Delious Kennedy, who was eager to spread joy to the children staying at the hospital again this time. "How could you say 'no' to that when it's so easy to do."

When her daughter was sick in the hospital, Teresa Newbold had invited the group to call, but they instead surprised Tyla with a visit, complete with a mini concert to cheer her up.

In keeping with their spirit of giving, All 4 One gave an impromptu concert to all the floragraph and float decorators, surprising everyone - there was not a dry eye in the Rosemont Pavillion.

All 4 One is donating 40 cents per iTunes download of their new song "When I needed an Angel" to Donate Life. Please visit the iTunes Store and type in "When I needed an Angel" in the search window.
