DONATE LIFE ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS-LOS ANGELES-ONELEGACY PARTICIPATES IN MEXICAN COUNSULATE VENTANILLA DE SALUD PROGRAM

On March 24th, OneLegacy, the Southern California Organ Procurement Organization participated in the Mexican Consulate of Los Angeles Ventanilla de Salud (Health Window) program as an initiative to reach out to the nearly 200,000 Mexicans that visit their offices annually.

As our information table was being set-up an individual came up expressing that she lacks a driver license and wanted to register to be a donor. She was offered a registration form which she immediately filled out. In an effort to offer the opportunity to those individuals who aren’t able to register through the DMV, we have partnered with the Mexican Consulate to educate, inform and provide their nationals the option to register to be donors.

OneLegacy's Done Vida Embajadores will be present at the Mexican Consulate once a week representing Done Vida! We look forward to building a stronger collaboration with the largest Mexican Consulate in the U.S. here in Los Angeles.
