The Donate Life Organ & Tissue Blog was created April 23, 2009 to chronicle the great work that is being done by individuals, communities and Donate Life Organizations in the United States promoting organ, eye and tissue donation. Since its humble beginnings we have grown to reporting on not only the efforts of Americans, but have expanded to sharing about worldwide organ donation awareness campaigns and heartwarming stories all to inspire individuals to register as an organ donor. The need for organ donors is universal we have learned as deaths on transplant wait lists worldwide is soaring.
We are one month to our anniversary and we have become the "Go To" blog site for Organ and Tissue Awareness stories worldwide with over 22,000 visitors for which we are grateful. Please take the time to take a tour of the blog. Learn what is being done, share what you are doing so others may be inspired to do the same. Most of all please register to be an organ, eye and tissue donor today.
