NATIONAL DONATE LIFE MONTH-LONG BEACH, CA - CITY OF LONG BEACH CITY PROCLAIMS APRIL AS NATIONAL DONATE LIFE MONTH

In a ceremony on March 23rd, the City of Long Beach for the fourth year has demonstrated their support for the over 106,000 Americans on the transplant wait list of whom nearly 8,000 reside in the Los Angeles area by proclaiming April as National Donate Life Month.

On April 6, 2010 at 10:30 am at the City of Long Beach City Hall Plaza both Mayor Bob Foster and Council member Suja Lowenthal will raise the Donate Life flag which will be flown for the entire month of April. We hope many in the Donate Life community will join in on the flag raising ceremony.
