One-year-old Jayleeonnah Silverio of Long Beach is held by her mother, Susan Blu, as she looks up at Elaine Jones, far right, who donated part of her liver to help save the girl's life. Blu recounted her daughter's story during a ceremony Tuesday in the Long Beach City Hall Courtyard to mark National Donate Life Month, which encourages people to sign up for the donor program at the DMV and receive a pink dot sticker on their driver's license.
