10,000 residents typically join the donor registry each month so getting to four million figure will definitely be a challenge. In a letter written on March 25th, the Governor thanked those who have already signed up.
She also took the time to thank the state's DMV examiners for their role in preserving lives through donation and bringing the sate to a major milestone. "Their dedication to asking this sensitive question everyday, all day, has made our numbers so great and has helped to save countless lives," Governor Perdue said.
