Currently, Professor Howard's Public Relations Planning and Management class, in conjunction with Donate Life California, is spreading the word about Organ and Tissue donation through the" What's Your Legacy?" campaign at Sacramento State.
It is our goal this semester to not only educate the public on the myths and facts associated with signing up to be an Organ and Tissue donor, but also increase the total number of donors. Throughout the month of April our campaign will be competing against other college campuses throughout California to see who will generate the biggest impact.
Currently, there are roughly 6 million registered Organ and Tissue Donors in California but OVER 24 million registered drivers. One registered donor had the opportunity to improve 58 LIVES!!
Join us by becoming a registered donor yourself, it's one effort that can make big changes in peoples' lives. One day you may be the one waiting on a stranger to make the same choice you are making today.

1. Click on “Sign up now as an organ and tissue donor!"
2. Fill in your information, everything with the star (*) next to it is mandatory.
Name, gender, date of birth, zip code, email address, and place of birth
3. Make sure the drop down box that says "I am participating in an eCampaign/Event"
has selected “Sac State Campus Challenge”
4. Press “Continue with Sign-Up" and follow the directions as stated.
Then... voila, PRESTO! You have taken action and become a potential lifesaver!
