Donate Life flag ceremony
Jamie Peterson raises a special Donate Life flag Thursday afternoon on the roof of Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. Organs from Peterson's daughter, Taylor Tefft, were donated after she died in a fiery collision last fall on Interstate 182 in Pasco. Daria Miller of Sunnyside, whose 19-year-old son B.J. died in a car accident three years ago, and heart transplant recipient Oscar Sainz of Burbank also participate in the event. April is national Donate Life Month.
