BRIDGEPORT -- The Challenger Baseball League held a special recognition ceremony, for a player who passed away.
Shawn Bunnell was born with one-half of a heart. He was given just 10 days to live. But, on April 6th at age 14, he passed away.
Bunnell played for the Astros Baseball Team.
They have now renamed the team, in his honor to Shawn's Astros.
Bunnell was also an organ donor and his mother is proud to say that her son's donation has given sight to two people.
