"Linking Hands for Life" a symbolic chain of remembrance and thanksgiving that will represent the cycle of life.

Donate Life South Carolina and LifePoint invite friends of organ and tissue donation to join us for the inaugural South Carolina Linking Hands For Life ceremony on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 1:00 PM on the new Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. BRING 11 FRIENDS & FAMILY!

Come link hands on this joyous day with: • organ/tissue donor families and recipients • those awaiting transplants • blood donors and recipients • friends and other supporters of these life saving donations.

The event is FREE and will have music and other family fun! Every 11 minutes someone is added to the transplant waiting list in this country. Those attending this event will be able to sign up on the South Carolina Organ and Tissue Donor Registry (Every11Minutes.org).

In order to help highlight this staggering statistic, you are encouraged to attend and bring 11 of your friends and/or family members along.
