Stars Hit the Fairway to Support Launch of the Ann & George Lopez Foundation

LOS ANGELES, May 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Celebrities golfed for a good cause on Monday, May 3 to benefit the launch of The Ann and George Lopez Foundation at the sold out 3rd annual George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic & 2010 Audi quattro Cup. The event raised $425,000 to benefit the new foundation.

Presented by Ann and George Lopez, Hard Rock International and The Seminole Tribe of Florida, this is the first fundraiser to benefit the foundation, which was established to assist underprivileged children and adults confronting challenges in education and health, and to increase awareness of kidney disease and organ donation.

"Over the years we have supported so many deserving organizations and felt it was time for us to focus on a cause close to our hearts by launching this foundation," stated Ann and George Lopez.
