'THREE RIVERS' CREATOR, CAROL BARBEE TO BE HONORED TONIGHT AT DONATE LIFE HOLLYWOOD FILM FESTIVAL.
(Beverly Hills)Carol Barbee, will receive two prestigious awards at the Donate Life Hollywood Film Festival Gala dinner this evening; The Donate Life Hollywood Inspire Award and the AOPO Crystal Heart Award fro the CBS series "Three Rivers".
"Three Rivers" led to a 6% national increase in public's willingness to register as organ donors, At lease ten lives were saved because the show viewers faced with making the decision to donate their loved one's organs cited the show as their inspiration to consent to donation.
Thank you Carol, for your commitment to saving lives and inspiring individuals to register as an organ donor.
Last evening, "Three Rivers" star Alex O'Loughlin received the Donate LIfe Hollywood Person of the Year Award through a nationwide on-line voting.
