DONATE LIFE ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS-FULLERTON, CA

2010 DONATE LIFE RUN / WALK FULL SLIDE SHOW

At long last we have been able to put together the photos from the Donate Life Run/Walk on May 1st into a comprehensive slideshow. Nearly 8,000 participants from as far away as Vermont made this the most successful event and the largest run/walk event in the nation.

Special celebrity guests included Philip Palmer, Channel 7 ABC news anchor, kidney donor and All-4-One who entertained the crowds with their Grammy Award winning tunes. Nearly 75 exhibitors participated in the Family Health Fair following the run/walk.

Probably the most memorable and touching moment of the day was the unveiling and lighting of the "Flame of Life" commemorating the lives that donors have saved, followed by the releasing of doves by donor families. The day was a combination of a celebration of life and of remembrance - powerful, emotional, inspiring, awesome, touching, joy, and elation - well, that is what I felt.
