A BIT OF REFLECTION
It has been a very busy weekend, and I am tired so last night I ordered for delivery Chinese from my local grind. In my exhaustion I began questioning if all the long hours is of benefit to the cause of organ donation and saving lives after all the transplant waiting list is constantly growing and we still have families who say no to donation based on untruths and because of not knowing what their loved one would have wanted. Here in California having only 6.7 million people registered on the Donate Life California Registry in my opinion it is rather dismal - so I continue to work hard to encourage individuals to register their wishes.I was also famished so I ate the BOTH fortune cookies that came with the incredible meal - I think the powers-to-be was hearing my moaning and hope I would shut-up so look what I discovered in the crisp folds of the cookie.
