DONATE LIFE ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS- MISSION VIEJO, CALIFORNIA

CHOC @ MISSION RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR ORGAN DONATION EXCELLENCE
By: Lisa Pedral, OneLegacy

At the recent "Celebrating our Partners" event held by OneLegacy, the Southern California Organ Procurement Organization, hospitals were honored for their excellence in organ donation rates.  Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) @ Mission was one of those honored however unable to attend the learning and awards event.

This past week, Lisa Pedral Hospital Services Coordinator for OneLegacy, presented the hospital their awards in a small gathering.  Although they were disappointed in not being able to accept their honors in person, there were very proud and excited of their achievements.  Pictured above is (left to right) Emma Sandhu (PICU CN), Gary Goodman, MD (Medical Director, PICU) Linda Starn (Director NICU / PICU) and Lisa Pedral (OneLegacy).

CHOC @ Orange also received similar accolades.

CONGRATULATIONS CHOC FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN REDUCING THE NUMBER OF DEATH ON THE PEDIATRIC TRANSPLANT WAIT-LIST.
