“The Donor in You” Golf Tournament

On Sept. 1, 2010 Lane Aviation and members of the Lane Aviation-sponsored Donate Life Council presented more than $5,900 to Lifeline of Ohio to assist with general educational awareness. The money was raised this past summer atLane Aviation’s golf tournament, “The Donor in You.”
More than 100 Golfers met Lifeline of Ohio staff, transplant recipients and donor families during the tournament and witnessed firsthand the dramatic difference organ and tissue donation can make in the lives of Ohioans. During the tournament, Lane Aviation expressed their support for organ and tissue donation and helped to increase awareness about the need for donors among local members of the business community.
Lifeline of Ohio would like to offer our sincerest gratitude to Lane Aviation for their support of donation. As a business leader in central Ohio, we are pleased to work alongside Lane Aviation to educate Ohioans about the need for organ and tissue donors during the “Donor in You” Golf Tournament and through the Donate Life Council, a group of young professionals in central Ohio who support organ and tissue donation.
