INTERNATIONAL ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS - TUNISIA

El Menzah Sports City hosts Maghreb and Middle East sports organ donors championship


TUNISIAONLINENEWS- From October 22 to 24, the El Menzah Youths and Sports City is hosting the third Maghreb and Middle East (ME) Championship of Sports Organ Donors and Recipients.
Two hundred sports donors and recipients of organs mainly from Tunisia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Iran, are taking part in this championship.
Youth, Sports and Physical Education Minister Samir Laabidi kicked off the opening ceremony of this third championship.
The chairman of the Tunisian Disabled Sport Federation (FTSH), chairman of the National Centre for Promotion of Organ Transplants, chairman of the Tunisian Association for Awareness of Organ Donation and chairman of the Tunisian Nephrology Association took part in the event which coincides with the National Awareness Day for Organ Donation, celebrated on October 23.
