DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton church is giving people a unique oppportunity to help save a life.
Leaders at Omega Baptist Church in Dayton offered their congregation a chance to register for organ donations at this morning's services.
They said it's a chance for parishioners to become linked to hundreds of African Americans in Ohio who need a transplant because more African Americans need kidney transplants than any other ethnic group.
"We believe at Omega baptist church that we need to be serious about this movement," said Rev. Daryl Ward of Omega Baptist Church. "You can be a miracle for somebody else."
