The event raised just over $30,000 that goes toward helping raise awareness
About 400 people turned out for the 1st Annual Donors on the Diamond event at Fluor hosted by former Gamecock Landon Powell.
The event raised just over $30,000 that goes toward helping raise awareness for organ and tissue donation.
Landon was diagnosed with a rare liver disease last year and will need a new liver at some point in the next 10-15 years.
Several sports celebrities showed up for the event including former and current major leaguers like Orlando Hudson, Joey Devine,Stephen Tolleson and others along with other significant names like Ray Tanner, Jack Leggett and Danny Ford.
