RCRMC Honors Organ Donor with Memorial Portrait to Be Placed on Donate Life Float 2011 Rose Parade

Moreno Valley, Ca - Riverside County Regional Medical Center (RCRMC), in collaboration with OneLegacy, the organ and tissue recovery organization serving the seven-county greater Los Angeles area, will honor Amanda Katherine Seraphin, an organ donor who died at the hospital after a tragic equestrian accident in 2003.

Seraphin gave the gift of life and saved four lives. Her mother and large extended family will be on site to decorate a “floragraph” or memorial portrait, which will be placed on the 2011 Donate Life Rose Parade float, Seize the Day!

Last week, Amanda’s mother and uncle met two of her organ recipients; both will be present with their families to help decorate her floragraph.

Amanda’s mother, Liz Seraphin, is so grateful that RCRMC will host this event.
She said, “Amanda will never have a wedding or another birthday celebration, so this is her celebration.” Who: Among those attendance will be
