PASADENA (KNX1070) —
Floats for the 122nd Rose Parade are taking shape and for many their work is a labor of love.
‘Donate Life’ Float Volunteers Talk with KNX 1070′s Ed Mertz
“You won’t see another float in the parade that has as much love and pride that goes into it as this one,” Kevin Monroe with ‘Donate Life’ said.

“It literally is a rolling memorial to those who have passed and made the decision to donate,” Monroe said.

The float, which is entitled “Seize the Day,” will have 30 riders, including organ recipients, family of people who donated organs and those awaiting a donation.

Volunteers building it say they do so in memory of family and friends who gave their lives so another can live.
