Tweetup results!
Last week, Donate Life Vermont hosted the first ever South Burlington, Vermont Tweetup at Sugar Snap Tech Park. We were VERY excited to see the turnout! It was a very mixed group of live organ donors, organ donor recipients, tweetup friends, facebook friends and college students---all with a very unique story of why they came. It was amazing to see how everyone has been affected by the cause of organ donation. We would like to send a personal thank you to Jim Carter for kicking off the event with his story and breaking the ice with some introductions and games! We would also like to thank Rob from Sugar Snap , Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and Trapp Family Lodge for providing food and giveaways! We are proud to announce that 1 week after the tweetup we have seen our largest increase in registrants! 200 new registrants in one week!! This proves that being #social SAVES! Thank you all for your support.
