Each year, Lifeline of Ohio’s community education program struggles to reach new schools and surpass the current percentage of schools we visit — 59 percent. We are always looking for ways to connect with teachers and generate interest in our programs.
Historically, we have had very low participation rates among the Columbus City high schools and want to address this issue. We need your help.
We are asking for our community of supporters to help us connect with teachers in Columbus so we can educate students about what it means to be an organ and tissue donor.
Thousands of new drivers will get licenses this year, and our programs ensure they understand what it means if they say “yes” to organ and tissue donation at the BMV.
If you know a teacher who would be interested in learning about our free educational presentations, please have them contact us via email: scheduling@lifelineofohio.org or by calling 800-525-5667. They can also request a program online.
A teacher can request a program at any time during the school year. Thank you to the schools and teachers who partner with us to educate their students about the first adult decision of their life – joining the Ohio Donor Registry!
