Recently there have been several stories of people donating organs to family members, which saved that family member's life.
According to the U.S. Government, there are over 110,000 people on organ waiting lists. In Ohio alone, there are over three-thousand people waiting, and according to the Ohio Department of Health, one person in Ohio dies every other day waiting for an organ transplant.
