"Wall of Heroes" honors donors and families

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)- Organ donors and their families were honored with a flag raising and a special ceremony.

The annual flag raising ceremony took place Monday evening at St. Bernards Hospital at the Jackson Avenue entrance to remember donors and their families.

After the flag raising, another ceremony took place at the new "Wall of Heroes" inside the hospital. The wall has names and photos of those who have given the gift of life.

Kim Moseley with Mid America Transplant Services says this was the first year donors and families have been honored with the wall.

In addition to the "Wall of Heroes", a book is also in the works that will feature those organ donors.
