Keep your eye out for UNYTS’ “Donate Life” Express Bus!

Source: Upstate New York Transplant Services

Hi guys! Buffalonians love to be outside in the summer and take advantage of the beautiful weather when we get it. With so many events and activities to do around Western New York, keep your eye out for UNYTS’ “Donate Life” Express Bus! The Bus is traveling across the area… participating in festivals, visiting offices and collecting blood! The “Donate Life” Express Bus helps educate our community about the importance of blood and organ donation and provides free health screenings. The Bus has visited places such as the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market, New Era Cap Company, Gospelfest, Panera Bread and more!

As you’re out and about this summer see if you can find our bus or visit our website or Facebook page to see where it will be next. Make it a point to stop by and check it out, oh and donate some blood while you’re there! One of the great things about the “Donate Life” Express Bus, besides that you are able to donate blood right inside of it, is that it is available to be booked for blood drives with businesses, schools, fairs, churches or other events. The 40-foot Bus allows for more blood drives to happen in more places, and will help collect an estimated 4,000 additional units of blood per year for Western New York residents!
