MENTONE GRAMMAR RUNS FOR ZAIDEES, Australia

So inspired were they by the story of little Zaidee Turner, the Mentone Grammar 1st XVIII Football Team has arranged to run for 24 consecutive hours in an incredible bid to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation.

Led by Tristan Broadway, Jackson Kornberg and Lewis Oliver, the team will commence their audacious run at 10:30am on Saturday September 17, and cross the symbolic finish line exactly 24 hours later on Sunday September 18. Several sporting celebrities will make appearances throughout the journey to show their support for the team and for Zaidee’s.

The boys have already began their fundraising efforts, with all money raised going directly to Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation. The team have set themselves the impressive target of $24,000 in 24 hours, and have internally labelled it the “T-24 Challenge”.

As well as general donations, several levels of sponsorships are available.

If you would like further information please contact Jarrad Carey;
