The addition of 472 new honorees on the Celebration of Life Donor Monument was unveiled Saturday in downtown Salt Lake City.
The 472 names added this year to the Wall of Honor at Library Square is a record number, said Dee North, Utah’s Donate Life Coalition secretary. There are now 4,102 names on the wall.
Those eligible to have their name engraved on the wall included deceased individuals who donated organ, eye, tissue or whole body and living donors who have donated a kidney, liver segment, bone marrow or 10 gallons or more of blood.
