Lottie's Lifeline: Sign up to the Organ Donor Registry and save a life, UK

Source: Birmingham Mail | Alison Dayani

TODAY the Birmingham Mail wants all its readers to become potential life-savers.

We are launching a life-saving campaign that everyone can support – Lottie’s Lifeline.

To find out how you can help click here.

Inspired by liver transplant baby Lottie Bryon-Edmond, who is recovering at Birmingham Children’s Hospital thanks to the kindness of strangers, we are urging people to give the gift of life by signing up to the NHS Organ Donor Register.

Birmingham has the worst record in the country for the rate of people pledging to give their organs for transplants when they die.

But just one extra person joining the register could help to save another nine lives.
