Harvest was Kyle Larre's favourite time of year.
When he wasn't on the combine working for family and friends on their farms he was out spotting geese to hunt near his hometown of St. Walburg Sask.
His love for fall has only made the last two months more difficult for his family as they tended to the fields without him for the first time this year.
On Aug. 7 Kyle, affectionately called 'Bomber' by his friends and family, suffered a critical head injury after falling from the back of a pick-up truck on the way home from a wedding reception.
Kyle was airlifted to Saskatoon where after it was apparent he wasn't going to recover and his family said their goodbyes, the machines keeping him alive were turned off.
At the hospital, Kyle's parents, Roger and Joann Larre then made a decision that would later have a big impact on their lives. They donated Kyle's organs for transplant. His heart, lungs, corneas, kidneys, liver and pancreas were sent out to waiting recipients.
