A SYDNEY actor/doctor in real life is calling for volunteer cyclists to be part of a film to promote the need for national organ donations.
As part of the national organ donor awareness week (February 20-27, 2012) AFI award winning producer Tristram Miall is producing a 30 minute drama, which recreates the excitement a "Tour De France" like bike race.
Miall has previously helped produce films like Strictly Ballroom and Black Balloon.
The film’s plotline centres around a tight knit bike racing family.
The film is being directed by Jeremy Cumpston who is keen to have volunteers help him recreate the excitement of a "Tour De France" like bikerace through Lane Cove National Park this coming, Friday, October 7 at 7am.
