ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- There was a special ceremony Tuesday at SwedishAmerican Hospital to honor patients and families that have given the gift of life.
A tree was planted in the hospitals healing garden in honor of organ donation. Right now there are more than 110-thousand people across the nation waiting for a transplant.
