CLEMSON - For the past two years, Clemson University and the University of South Carolina have competed in the Donate Life Duel in which they rallied fans to register as organ and tissue donors.

This year’s duel started October 1st and will conclude the day of the rivalry game Saturday, November 26, 2011.

There are many opportunities to register between now and then - including at the Department of Motor Vehicles, at the www.donatelifesc.org website, and at the on-campus registries at both universities.

Many residents of South Carolina believe they are registered organ donors, but they are not. Let’s make it easy for you: look at your license and if there is just a heart with a Y on it, you aren’t a registered donor.
