Just before they pass around the cranberry sauce at their Thanksgiving feasts, two moms -- one from Villa Hills, Ky., the other from the Butler County village of Seven Mile, Ohio -- will bow their heads.

The Kentucky mom, Judy Schumacher, will remember Justin, her fun-loving, life-giving son. The Ohio mom,Jennifer Miller, will celebrate being alive after receiving his liver in 1992.
Both moms will give thanks that their 19-year quest recently came to a successful conclusion.
