The halls of Goulburn Valley Health were filled with streaks of rainbows and the clatter of hula hoops yesterday as staff raised awareness of organ donation.
The day, which included hula hoop competitions in each department, was organised in honour of Zaidee?s Rainbow Foundation, which began in honour of local girl Zaidee Turner.
Zaidee died suddenly from a brain aneurism in 2004 at the age of seven and was the only child under 16 that year to donate her organs and tissues in Victoria.
