San Bernardino Boy to be Honored with Tree Dedication

Black Voice News

A’marion Adams, an inquisitive and loving six-year-old from San Bernardino, was a boy who adored his family and thrived at school. Tragically, his life was cut short when he was shot in the back of the head and passed away three days later on June 16, 2010.

On Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at 11 a.m. , the San Bernardino community will come together to remember A’marion Adams and dedicate a tree and memorial plaque in his honor at Anne Shirells Park, 1367 North California Street in San Bernardino. The plaque has been donated by Mountain View Mortuary and Cemetery.

“We are proud to honor and remember A’marion, a spirited young boy who brought joy to all who knew him,” said Glenn Abercrombie, general manager for Mountain View Mortuary and Cemetery, an honored Dignity Memorial® provider in San Bernardino.

Because of his loving heart and his family’s decision to donate his organs, Mountain View Mortuary and Cemetery and the Dignity Memorial providers in the Inland Empire are also honoring A’marion Adams with a floragraph—a portrait made of floral and natural materials—that will be decorated by his family and friends and featured on the Donate Life float entry in the 123rd Rose Parade on Jan. 2, 2012.
