St. Petersburg, Florida -- At just 16 years old, Shovon Greene has much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving.
"This year I am blessed not to be in the hospital back here with my family alive and doing well," Shovon said.
The teenager lives, thanks to a heart transplant on Nov. 11 last year.
10 News first met Shovon in 1997 he was 27 months old. Born with four heart defects Shovon had six heart surgeries growing up. Then, last year, doctors decided a new heart was his only chance.
