Woodstock Sentinel Review
WOODSTOCK – Six-year-old wish child Ryley Mitchell had a smile from ear to ear as she skipped down the streets of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Minutes earlier, the Woodstock girl had flipped the switch on more than five-million dancing lights at the opening ceremonies for the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Nov. 10.
“Dreams do really come true,” Ryley said to her three-year-old brother Landon as she jumped up and down in joy.
Ryley, who was born with a rare heart condition known as dilated cardiomyopathy, otherwise known as an enlarged heart, received a new heart through an organ transplant seven months after she was born.
