Donate Life Rose Parade Float - December 10th Decorating

video

There was a crispness in the air as the sun rose from behind the Phoenix decorating barn in Pasadena.  As volunteers began arriving, the sun began to warm everyone and brought cheer to the assembled decorators - there were no winds as in the previous week although there were reminders of the destruction as crews were still shredding trees and bushes hauled to the Rose Bowl area for disposal.

There were volunteers from the Rotary Club youth group, Moss Adams and Donor Network of Arizona who we later learned rode a bus all the way from their offices in Arizona.  Donor families arrived one by one and were presented with their loved-ones floragraphs.  Upon seeing the template for the first time, emotions and expressions varied however all were reverent.

Enjoy the slideshow and share in the experience.  A few days from now there will be a surprise which we are not able to reveal today.... stay tuned.
