Jayce Sheffield eased his lanky legs over the black and white bull's broad back, wrapped a braided rope around his left hand and shot out of the bucking chute in a blur of cowhide, hooves and black cowboy hat

After his 12th birthday ride that April 3, 2006, Jayce grinned and repeated his oft-heard phrase: “Someday I'm going to be famous.”
His mother, Paige Sheffield, heard him say those words many times.
No one in the family doubted that the determined bull rider, skateboarder, paintballer, baseball player and all-around athlete would someday make those heartfelt words become reality.
