DONOR REGISTRIES IN THE UNITED STATES ARE LEGALLY BINDING; A DOCUMENTED ANATOMICAL GIFT WHICH GUARANTEES DONOR'S WISHES WILL BE FULFILLED AND MAY NOT BE OVERRIDDEN BY FAMILY MEMBERS. IT IS THEREFORE VERY IMPORTANT THAT ONE REGISTER WITH THEIR DONOR REGISTRY OR DMV.
