6th Annual Aspen Summit for Life highlight video

Chris Klug Foundation

This is the 6th Annual Aspen Summit for Life Sponsored by Novartis Highlight Video December 9-10, 2011. This was our largest Summit for Life event yet.

Four hundred thirty participants climbed 3,267 vertical feet over two and a half miles up Aspen Mountain at night under a full moon. Another seventy supporters and volunteers met them at the Sundeck to celebrate second chances and the miracle of organ donation. $136,000 was raised to benefit CKF and help continue the mission of eliminating the wait for over 112,000 currently waiting across the country for a life-saving transplant.

The top fundraiser, Mike Tuller, raised $8,405 and raffled off his winnings to his donors. Nine transplant recipients participated in the hike including Morgan Wilkenson, an eleven year old kidney recipient from Breckenridge, Colorado. Thank you to everyone that joined us and supported CKF and S4L.

Thank you to our sponsors and all contributors. Because of the success of S4L'11 CKF will be able to host organ donation educational events and registration drives nationwide and provide free of charge our Donor Dudes video program. See you December 7 and 8 for Summit for Life 2012!
