ROCKLEDGE — Ballet and fighter and are not words usually put together in the same sentence, unless you know Robyn Simmons DeKeyser.
She has danced with the Joffrey Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, the National Ballet of Cuba and the Southern Ballet Theatre. Grace personified.
She also is a wife and mother, has a Master of Business Administration and owns her own dance company, Ballet Bravura. She once was named Mrs. Brevard County in the Mrs. Florida Scholarship Pageant.
All of this, despite being told she would only live to be 6 years old when she was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis just 21 days after being born.
