DonateLife Week Kick-Starts from February 19, Australia - New Zealand

TopNews New Zealand | Pallavi Sharma

Australia will be celebrating its national awareness week DonateLife to promote organ and tissue donation. The Organ and Tissue Authority would lead the event which would kick-start from February 19.

In this week people would share their stories which would further be compiled in DonateLife's Book of Life. The stories would be about the moments which they have felt while waiting for organ donor and feeling to get it from totally unknown person.

The book would also tell the other side of the story as well where organ donor would share his moments which he has witnessed after saving one’s life. For years, this activity has taken place in Australia where people have shared their positive experiences of organ donation.
