News 13, Dunedin, Florida | Jonathan Petramala
A Dunedin woman is using an unsual method to try and find a kidney.
She placed an ad on Craigslist.
Amy Hobbs said she got the idea after watching a news story about a Palm Beach Gardens woman who used the website for the same purpose, and successfully found a donor.
"I thought, hey she did it, I can do it," Hobbs said.
Hobbs has had kidney problems her whole life. Her father donated her first kidney in 1984. She said she was fine until 2009 when she started having problems again.
