Medical College of Wisconsin President and CEO John R. Raymond, Sr., M.D. dances the Waltz for National Kidney Foundation’s Spotlight on Life
Eight local healthcare executives, including Medical College of Wisconsin’s own President and CEO John R. Raymond, Sr., M.D. will be in the spotlight on Saturday, January 28, participating in a ballroom dance competition to support organ donation; promote awareness of Wisconsin’s new online donor registry (www.YesIWillWisconsin.com) and the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin (NKFW).
Dr. Raymond, Sr., of Brookfield, will be dancing the Waltz to pay tribute to the second chances that are made possible through the miracle of transplantation and the gift of organ donation. Modeled after the popular Dancing with the Stars, participants have been training with professional partners from Fred Astaire Dance Studios, and will be performing a variety of ballroom dances. Similar to the television program, the community is encouraged to vote for their favorite dancer by visiting www.spotlightonlife.org. Each $1 vote will be used to support the organ donor awareness and transplant related educational programs of the NKFW.
